PROFESSIONAL TRAININGS
Hi There! I’m Lynn.
Being human is complex. Each of us carries a unique story that shapes how we respond to stress, connection, and challenge. My own story includes early adversity that later showed up in adulthood — and especially in my role as a parent. That journey required intentional healing so I could reduce the impact of my own stress patterns on my children.
That experience, combined with my clinical training, deeply informs the work I do today.
As a therapist and educator, my focus is the stress response system — from everyday overwhelm and anxiety to depression and trauma-related activation. I approach this work through both a nervous system and attachment lens, because how we regulate is inseparable from how we connect.
Across public and private settings, I have seen one truth repeatedly: meaningful change is possible. There is so much we can do to reduce the impact of stress and strengthen secure attachment — with ourselves and with the people we love.
Many of us were never explicitly taught how to regulate our emotions, repair after conflict, or create consistent relational safety. We weren’t taught how to move from reactivity to responsiveness. Instead, most of us have been figuring it out as we go — often parenting or partnering from patterns we didn’t consciously choose.
That is not a personal failure. It is a skills gap. And skills can be learned.
My goal is to translate nervous system science and attachment theory into practical, usable tools. Not abstract. Not overwhelming. Just clear steps that help you regulate your body, communicate with intention, repair when needed, and build secure, lasting connection.
