HOW TO MAKE MORNINGS EASIER - PART 1

My life changed for the better when I created a morning routine that included ME TIME. I spent years running around in the morning like a madwoman barking orders at my family.  I rush out of the house, to rush the kids to school, to rush to work, to rush to pick up the kids, to rush home.  

This shit is not sustainable, and I was surviving, but in no way thriving.  

So I made some serious shifts, including being more mindful about how I started my day. By including time for myself, even if it’s 2 minutes, I am telling myself, I am the priority.   

WHAT A POWERFUL MESSAGE TO SEND.

On top of that I would set the tone for the day. Having the INTENTION to start my day peacefully, typically resulted in my day flowing more smoothly. 

I have worked with so many clients who struggle with this as well. My advice, just start doing something and see how it feels. There is not a one size fits all approach.  What I’ve noticed for myself is some days I want to journal, others I want to do yoga, and most days I try to meditate.  Ya feel me?!
