Here's a message from your facilitators, Lynn and Yvette:

Meet your facilitators:

This workshop is for you if your students are:

  • Struggling to adjust being back in school
  • Having difficulty socializing in a school setting
  • Facing an increase in peer conflict
  • Engaging in off-task behavior
  • Experiencing emotional states that are not conducive to academic learning

This is likely causing you to feel unsure how to support these students. It used to only be a few students and now it’s most students experiencing one or more of these feelings.

You may feel that:

  • Your typical strategies are no longer working
  • You are tired and/or frustrated
  • You are unsure how to meet the needs of your students.
  • It is difficult balancing your own personal life experience amidst a pandemic

This 2 part workshop will help you make adjustments to your Tier I practices to help meet the needs of the majority of your students, all while helping you manage your own stress. You’ll also learn how to scale these strategies up to support students with more intensive needs.
